Dr. Cho and his wife are wonderful practitioners and have made a huge difference with my daily struggles with MS. My regular physician can’t believe how much it’s helped me.
This is my second experience with acupuncture, my first I was so scared and never wanted to go back (in a different state). My midwife recommended Dr. Cho to help turn my breech baby (almost 37 weeks) and when I entered the office I could tell the experience would be very different than my first time. They are so kind and incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. He knew things I never told him or mentioned on the intake form and was able to find solutions to help. It really helped calm my nerves in a different medicine model. He is an expert in his field, I can tell. And baby did indeed turn.
Dr. Cho is amazing I have been going for about 5 months now. When I first went acupuncture was my last resort for my condition. I suffered from optical vertigo and had a severe nystagmus. I felt I didn’t know what to do I was so sick, dizzy and throwing up all the time. I also suffered from severe chronic migraines. I feel Dr. Cho saved my life and my quality of life has improved greatly since I started seeing him. I now very seldom get dizzy i haven’t throw up in months, and I have way less migraines than before. I recommend Dr. Cho and acupuncture to anyone who suffers from vertigo, nystagmus, severe migraines, or chronic pain.
To start, this was my first experience with acupuncture. From my initial appointment to present, I’ve found the professionalism, sincere listening, kindness, and optimism around health improvement goals exhibited by Dr. Cho and the entire staff very comforting. I feel these qualities are as important as practitioner expertise, considering the sensitive nature of the health challenges those of us visiting the clinic are dealing with, some with long-suffering ailments or at wits’ end with traditional healthcare. I have been coming weekly for two months and noticed many positive changes in my health from the combination of treatments provided by Dr. Cho’s clinic. Specifically, my migraines have drastically decreased, my hot flashes have ceased, I no longer have bloody noses, no longer experience excessive thirst, my chronic pain is becoming less chronic, my anxiety has decreased, and my overall mood and energy have greatly improved. I’m so grateful this clinic was recommended to me, and I also highly recommend! Thank you immensely, Dr. Cho and company!
I was referred to Dr. Cho by the VA. I’ve been looking at more holistic approaches to improve my health and I’m grateful the VA is offering more of those options now. So far in a short period of time, Dr. Cho’s treatments have helped me with joint pain, migraines, dry eye syndrome, to name a few, that I’ve been on multiple prescriptions for many years which I no longer need to take thanks to Dr. Cho. I highly recommend him.
I am writing this letter as a reference for Dr. Kyungho Cho. I have been suffered from breast cancer who started treatment with Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University from 2017.
My bones and hip were causing grave pain for me and I started the treatment with acupuncture, cupping and Tui-na therapy from him for eight sessions in two months. It has greatly reduced my pain in my herniated disk and lower back/ hip. He is very kind and energetic and I could tell he cares about his patients through watching him engage with me. I would say he actually was the most caring and kind medical professional I have ever interacted with and I have met many.
I’ve had the good fortune of being Dr. Kyungho Cho’s patient for 1.5 years. When I first started
receiving acupuncture treatments from Dr. Cho, my husband and I had been trying to conceive
a baby without success. Due to my low AMH hormone, we tried natural methods, as well as
Western medicine, and were considering extremely expensive and invasive fertility drugs and
procedures when we skeptically decided to give acupuncture a try. Dr. Cho had been highly
recommended to us.
Once I began treatments with Dr. Cho, I understood why he had such a good reputation in
acupuncture in the Atlanta area. He is an excellent teacher, and takes time to explain the
Oriental medical practice, as well as recommended treatments through acupuncture and
Chinese herbs. He made my first experience in Eastern medicine comfortable and easy to
understand, while also recognizing Western medical opinions, as well. After a few short months
of bi-weekly treatments with Dr. Cho, my husband and I were thrilled that we conceived a child.
I continued to see Dr. Cho throughout the next nine months, dealing with common
pregnancy-related ailments such nausea, fatigue, and joint pain. Each visit with Dr. Cho was
different and uniquely catered to my current body’s condition. I always felt safe and that I was in
good care as he would go to great lengths to ensure that I understood his rationale and
procedures with each treatment. We now have a healthy, happy 4-month old baby boy, whom I
can attribute to my regular treatments from Dr. Cho.
I am writing this letter as a reference for Dr. Kyungho Cho. I began seeing Dr. Cho approximately 2 years ago for movement and mobility issues stemming from my diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. At my first appointment I found Dr. Cho to be a careful listener to my symptoms. He showed compassion and demonstrated a great knowledge and understanding of Acupuncture and how I would benefit from the treatments. Since beginning Acupuncture treatments from Dr. Cho I have seen a marked improvement in my range of motion and my mobility. I feel that Dr. Kyungho Cho would be a valuable doctor to Augusta area.
I am writing this letter as a personal reference/testimonial for Mr. Kyungho Cho. My acquanaice with Mr. Cho started in 2016.Over the years, during weekly treatment visits he provided outstanding and genuine patient care. Initial assessment visit was followed by a series of consistent treatments. Additionally, Mr. Cho has taken the initiative to research in detail my condition and successfully use acupuncture techniques. I think his qualifications, experience, education and knowledge can benefit and add value to the sick with incurable diseases.
I have known Dr. Cho last three years as one of his students at Atlanta University of Health Sciences, Duluth, Georgia. He taught me in Acupuncture Treatment, OB-GYN & Pediatrics and Medical Case Studies. As a retired professor, I can assure you that he is a genuine scholar and a great practitioner in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He knows all aspects of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in China, in Korea as well as in USA. He was teaching with American textbook, but integrated the old Chinese books and the theories. My wife and I became his patients for a long time; dry eyes and back pain for my wife and neck pain after a cervical fusion from C2-C7 for me. He has healing hands as well as a healing big heart for the patients. He was well respected by his students and his patients. Also I noticed that he is a research oriented Acupuncture practitioner and is constantly seeking new and better treatment methods for the patients.
I was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2013 when I lived on Arizona and most recently had been followed and treated by western medical doctors. The symptom of MS started with left hand numbness, then weakness. I had numbness in face down leg. MRI was positive. I was treated initially with Copazone and then Rebif which led to breakthrough disease. I was on Tecfidera for about a year. I was switched over to Tysabri when again I had breakthrough disease with enhancement. In July 2016, I had had 15 doses of Tysabri and was JC positive and the 2.0 range. Overall I did very well, but complains of fatigue as well as some cognitive impairment. I had some frontal headaches. I exercised avidly and was very healthy. I had had low vitamin D and took 50,000 units weekly. In April 2016 my pain and tingling had become severe especially from 2pm to 5pm, and constantly felt hot and thirsty so frequently drank ice water. The prescribed analgesic acetaminophen did not relieve my pain. In April 2017, luckily I met Dr. Cho in Atlanta, GA. He diagnosed me with “Deficiency Fire of Stomach and Spleen”. During the 20 sessions over one year with the acupuncture and herbal medicine, not only the heavy feeling and twitching sensation on my arms and legs was dramatically decreased, but also eye pain and photophobia symptom were improved. Finally one year later I could return to almost normal condition and it was also confirmed by MRI.
I had an incredible experience with Dr. Cho. This was my first visit with acupuncture and it was extremely enjoyable. Almost spa like! Dr. Cho listened to all my issues and was very thorough explaining the procedure and process of TCM acupuncture and balancing the energies within the body. The lower back pain I’ve dealt with for the past 10 years and hip pain the last 3 months have just about completely disappeared. Digestive issues have resolved, stress levels lowered, I could go on and on. Just an overall sense of wellness! Best I’ve felt in years after two treatments. I love the herbal medicine I was given to make a tea. Not for everyone, but I liked it! Dr. Cho and his staff are so kind and gentle, the overall experience was just an excellent one. Highly recommend giving it a try for all your ailments. I will be back, if just for the relaxing experience!
